You will receive information about the battery level one hour before the booking starts. We strive our best to get our customers a car that has maximum battery. However, the battery level of the car depends on how the previous customer before you left it. If the car allocated to you has a range of battery lower than 60KM to drive for, you can cancel the booking and request for a full refund at hello@aimoshare.se.   

If your trip needs more battery than what the car has, you can always charge the car at any public charging places.   

Below you can find some useful links where you can plan your charging stops or can find closest charging stations near you. Please follow the payment app or payment instructions at respective charging stations.   

Aimo does not cover the charging cost at such charging stations.    

We do not guarantee any specific charging level. Please consider that factors such as temperature and driving style can affect how quickly the battery depletes.   

Want to change car in rental due to low battery?

If you want to extend your booking, click on “My bookings” in the app. Navigate to your booking and select “Extend your booking”. In the calendar you will see the new possible times.   

You cannot extend your ongoing booking in following situations:   

a. If your car is booked by another user after your original booking time ends. In such a situation, you need to return the car and you are welcome to make a new booking and use any of our other cars. You pay regular hourly rates for extended time in this case.   

b. If you have already crossed the original booking time without extending the booking in the app. In such a situation, please return the car as early as possible or contact our customer support to find out how long you can use the car.  You might be charged a penalty for late return on top of hourly rate for extended time in this case.   

I want to extend the booking after the initial rental period is over.

You chose the pickup and return location for your car at the time of booking. It is not possible to change them after you have made the booking.   

Oneway: if you chose a one-way trip, you can select a different garage than where you want to pick up your car from.   

Round trip: if you do not chose a one-way trip then, by default you need to return the car at the same garage where you picked it up from.

You can also see them in the app. In the app, go to "Bookings" -> click on the booking -> "Get details" for a description of pick up and drop off garage's information and rules.   

Are you in correct garage? That sounds strange! Are you sure you are in the right garage that you decided to drop off the car at the time of booking the car? You chose the pickup and return location for your car at the time of booking. It is not possible to change them after you have made the booking.

That sounds strange! Are you sure you are in the right garage and looking for the car at right level?

 If you are in the wrong garage by mistake, then please reach the correct garage and you will find your car is still waiting for you.

If the car is not drivable, first try to exit the car, lock it, wait for 20 minutes, and see if the car works again. This solution only applies for technical error messages that causes the car to not being able to start. 

If you have been involved in a smaller accident that does not make the car unsafe to drive, please write to us at: damage@aimoshare.se and use the car as usual. We will reach out to you with next steps in the process. 

If you have been involved in an accident that makes the car unsafe to drive or the car has no charge at all, contact us at Aimo Share (010-456 39 39). 

When you make a booking, open the app, and press "Bookings" -> click on the booking ->"Get details." There, you will find a description of pick up and drop off garages of your choice. It has the information of how to get into the garage, access code if any and where to find/leave the car. 

You always pay for the time you selected at the time of booking. If you start your trip earlier, you will be charged extra for that time, even if you return the car earlier.   

 You have the possibility to start the trip earlier when you have received “a vehicle is waiting for you” email.   

I want to start my booking earlier / change the start time of my booking.

Just return to your selected garage, drop off the car, and end the trip. Please note that you will still be charged for your initial booking period. 

Contact the charging station partner you are currently at in the first instance. They are in a best position to help you trouble shoot the charging issue.  

It should definitely not be like that! Send pictures and email us hello@aimoshare.se. Unfortunately, we cannot help you with another replacement car right away, but can look into each case and if you should get any compensation. Aimo reserves the right of decision in such cases.  

If you want to pay your invoice, go to the app -> Menu -> My Account -> Scroll down until you see a "Pay" button. Make sure there is sufficient balance in your account. Pay. The processing takes approximately 15 minutes. This only applies to unpaid invoices that are not older than 10 days.   

If your invoice is more than 10 days old, then you will receive a reminder for payment of invoice and you need to follow instructions mentioned in the reminder.

However, we suggest that you should look for specific information on internet search portals, or online car documentation from the car manufacturers to find any specific information.   

Sometimes it helps to move the car few meters in the garage to update the GPS of the car. You can try moving the car 100-200 meters and try to end the trip.

Aimo Share is a car sharing service. Open the app, pick up a car near you, keep it for up to 30 days. It is an easy and affordable way to get you from here to there. Choose between ID.3, ID.4, KIA EV6, Tesla Model 3, Tesla Model Y, NIO ET7 or NIOEL7 and get it delivered to a chosen garage. 

Aimo Share cars can be picked up from our dedicated garages. You can find available cars in the Aimo Share app, which can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play. A car can be booked directly or you can plan your trip in advance. You book by choosing the date and time as well as the place for leaving and picking up the car. You are charged a low fee per minute, per hour or per day. End the trip easily by leaving the car where you have chosen in the app and then just lock the car with your phone.

Simply sign-up by downloading the Aimo Share App in App Store or Google Play and follow the instructions. To be able to become a member via the app you need to be 19 years old, have had a Swedish driving licence for at least one year and BankID. For you with a foreign driving license follow the instructions in the app for registration with a foreign license (you will find this when you press the “skapa konto” button underneath the “Kör igång” button).

Yes, we have a Frequent User Program and if you have an aimo account and take trips the system will automatically reward you if you qualify as a frequent user. The more trips you take, the better discount you’ll get! At the first day of each month our system will count all the trips you’ve taken in the past month and you’ll be automatically added into the bonus level you qualify for. To stay at the same level or upgrade in the coming month, simply take enough trips! All trips taken with your private profile with a minimum length of 1 km and minimum 5 min are qualified. There are four levels: Base, White, Blue, Black. You end up at the base level if you drive aimo from time to time. The Base price is the same as usual. To get a discount, you need to take a white, blue or black belt in aimo-driving. Read more about our Frequent User Program here.

Does it cost anything to become a member?

You can find available Hotspots with charging facilities in the app. Hotspots marked with a blue P and with "Charging" in the name have charging capabilities.

Where can I find the nearest charging station?

The cars are equipped with ISOFIX fittings on outer rear seats and front passenger seat if you want to bring a child seat. We can not guarantee child seat in every car. Contact us before your trip if you need one that suits children from the age of 4 years (weight between 15-36 kg.)

All aimo cars are pet free. Unfortunately, you cannot bring pets in the car out of consideration for other car users. If you chose to bring a pet in the car anyway, you will be charged an additional fee according to the Price List.

Yes, but please clean up after yourself. Excess cleaning fees will be charged according to the Price List if a car is returned dirty.

Smoking is not allowed in the cars due to safety issues and in consideration of other users. If you chose to smoke in the car anyway, you will be charged an additional fee according to the Price List.

Is smoking allowed in the Aimo Share car?

You can keep an Aimo for up to 30 days. If you want to keep a car for a longer period you can use our Subscription service. Click here to book our Subscription cars

It doesn’t cost anything for the time you have a car booked. You start paying when you have unlocked the car.

You can unlock your aimo that you've reserved or any available aimo on the street or at a hotspot using your aimo App. There is no key for our cars, when you have unlocked the car you just need to put your foot on the brake and push the 'start/stop' button. Because it's an electric car you won't hear the engine start, instead you will hear a small signal informing you the car is ready to go.

How do I start the car and where is the key?

If you notice damages to the car before you start your trip please report these in the app you will receive an option to do this before you unlock the car for the first time.

What do I do if the car I have booked has damages?

If you find an item left behind please leave the item in the glove box or the trunk depending on the size of the item and let us know by contacting our customer service. Please also give us a call to report a lost item, we will keep an eye out for it and let you know once it has been found. We keep all lost and found items at our office for 30 days. You can give us a call or email us to identify your lost item. And while we will do our best to keep your belongings safe, we are not responsible for any items that are lost or stolen in our cars.

What if I have lost or found an item in an Aimo?

If you have an accident with the car, please take pictures at the scene and call us as soon as you can tel: 010 456 39 39. Our cars are insured; however, please note that there is a deductible (Sw. vagnskadegaranti) that you might be liable to pay. If you are involved in an accident with another driver please be diligent to document the damage together with the other driver, in this case you might also be liable for an additional deductible (Sw. trafikförsäkring). The amount of the deductible is available through the Price List.

What do I do if I have problems with the car?

If the battery level should drop below 25 km when you are out driving, you can continue driving to a Hotspot and put it on charge. You can also charge at other charging stations. Before you drive off, check if there is a charging cable, Type 2 that enables charging at the charging station. If you leave the car with a range below +25 km / + 7% battery without putting it on charge, you will have to pay to move it to the nearest charging station If you do not have the opportunity to charge at one of our HotSpots we recommend the Northe app to load your Aimo. Northe has a nationwide network of charging stations and cooperates with most operators. In the app, you can see the nearest charging station, plan your trip for available charging stations and pay for charging directly in your mobile. Available on the App Store and Google Play. Aimo's customer service can not help with the charging station or the app's functions.

What do I do if there is very little power left in the battery?

You can easily park and leave your aimo after pressing the “pause trip” function in the aimo App. Please note that you continue to pay until you have ended the trip in the Aimo Share App.

ID.3/4 has a safety mode that is activated if the car falls below 1-15% battery. The car will then only be able to run at walking speed. This depends on the driver's own driving style and planning for charging/range. Remember to always have good margins for charging. To avoid this, the driver needs to plan his driving and ensure that the car's current range reaches the destination (also note that the range shown is an estimate and may vary according to driving style and road conditions)

You press on the button “End trip” to right in the app. You will then receive a message that asks you if you are sure that you want to end your trip. When you have confirmed this the car will lock itself and then you will receive an email with a summary of your trip. You can also find invoice details in the app when you press “trips” in the app menu.

If the app freezes, we recommend that you restart it. If you need further assistance, please contact customer service.

When your aimo is in sleeping mode, it might take up to one minute before it responds. If it takes longer we recommend that you reinitiate the app. Thank you for your patience.

Booking is free, you pay from the time you open the doors until you have closed them again (and ended your trip). When you create an account, you will enter your credit card details. Once you have completed a trip, aimo will automatically withdraw the amount from your card. Aimo will do 3 withdrawal attempts, if the withdrawal does not go through, we will send a reminder to your email, you can then either contact us and ask us to make a new withdrawal attempt or pay the reminder to us manually. If an invoice is not paid and the due date is expired the invoice will then become a reminder process in accordance with the interest act. You will receive a summary of your trip by email when you end your trip and a complete invoice (with VAT details) is available through the aimo App.

How do I pay for the service/what happens if a payment doesn’t go through?

One credit is equal to 1 SEK and can be used for driving an aimo.

Go to the menu and then choose "Credits" and enter the code. You need to enter the promo code before ending a trip if you would like for the amount to be deducted for that specific trip.

Yes! Share the joy of car sharing by giving your friend credits to drive for on their first trip. Your friend gets 180 SEK to drive for. In return you also get 240 SEK to drive for during one month. 

Please go to the login page in the app and click the “forgot password” link and follow the instructions.

Open the app, search your desired time and date and choose whether you want a one-way or return trip (i.e. pick up at one garage and drop off at another). Based on garage chosen, you’ll have options on available cars. Choose car, create your booking, and enjoy! 

You will receive a virtual key that will be visible in the app between 24h and 15 minutes before the Rental Period starts. That means that the car is ready for you to use. If you choose to start the trip earlier than the time in the booking confirmation the Rental Period starts when you unlock the car in the app.

How do I know when the car is ready for a pick up? 

When creating your booking you choose place for pick up. Aimo offers 50+ dedicated garages to choose from. See all in the app. 

When you've made your booking, you'll receive a booking confirmation which also contains information about the garage and how to find it. You'll also see booking information directly in the app.

Where do I find the car in the garage(s)? 

Aimo offers 50+ dedicated garages for pick up and drop off. The return of the car will be at the garage you choose when you book your car.

Before starting your booking, it is important that the Debit / Credit card that you have registered with Aimo App is active and has sufficient funds to pay for the trip. Aimo will withdraw 70% of the rent at the time of booking. If that fails then you will not be able to complete the booking. Rest of the rent payment will be withdrawn at the end of your Rental. 

You can cancel your booking up to 24h before your rental period starts. Please cancel in the app or send us a mail at hello@aimoshare.se

If you cancel your booking 24h before your rental starts or in case Aimo cancels your booking due to car availability issues, then you will be refunded all of your advance payment the same day. It will appear in your account within 2-3 working days from such cancellation. 

What happens to my advance payment in case I or Aimo cancels my booking?

Your Rental period starts at the time agreed in booking confirmation and you will be charged from that time. Cancellation needs to be done 24h before rental period starts. 

Late return will be charged at Aimo Rental pricelist. 

Can I pick up the car earlier than the booked time?

You can always choose how long you want to use the car. Payment will be charged for the entire period of rental booking.

Yes! You can click on your booking in the app and choose "Extend booking" and get a price for this, as well as last available extension date.

The term will start on the date the car is delivered to you. Minimum period of having the car is 2 months then it´s 30 days’ notice period.

Yes, the car is covered by comprehensive insurance with the usual extent of cover. In the event of any damage during the subscription period, you are responsible for the cost of the excess. The current rates of excess are detailed in here
 
 If you want to reduce the deductible damage to 2 000 SEK, you can choose to add an insurance waiver for 499 SEK/month in your Simple package. In our Smart package, the insurance waiver is already included in the price.

2 400 km/month is always included. After that it costs 2 SEK extra per/km.

The standard is with striping but depending on how long you want to have the car, we can be flexible to take away the striping as well.

We ask you to pick up the car at our office to go through damage check and controls.

We provide our service mainly in Stockholm but we can be flexible depending on your address and contract terms.

Can I subscribe to a car even outside Stockholm?

In our Subscription service, you can have your own dedicated car. Congestion fee and on street parking is not included. Congestion fee will be charged separately every month based on your usage.

Compared to free-floating service, what is the difference? 

Charging that works without a charging tag at our HotSpots, you can use them free of charge. For other charging which requires separate charging tag, you need to manage yourself.

No. At most of our HotSpots, cars can be left at any parking spot as long as it´s not a reserved one. Please check details of each HotSpot in the app description.

Our Subscription service is keyless. We ask you to manage the car from our app.

You can have up to 5 accounts connected to your dedicated car. If you need more accounts then it´s a set up fee of 149 SEK per account.

Yes, it´s your own dedicated car so you can bring your pet. Just make sure to let us know that before the subscription period starts and to clean the car when you return it.

You can travel anywhere within Swedens borders.

A car pool means that a number of people share one or more cars. The advantage is that you only pay for the car when you use it. You get access to the car via our app. This means that the cars are keyless. Aimo Share's car pool solution gives you access to new, all-electric cars.

How much does it cost to start a car pool?

It takes 2-3 weeks after we have signed a completed agreement.

You contact your association/landlord/property owner and register your interest.

What do I do to get a car pool in my area?

It is optional how many cars you want to order. We usually use the rule of thumb 1 car per 100 apartments, then you get a good coverage of the cars.

We have a 1-year agreement per car pool. If you add more cars during the year, it includes the period we wrote for the first car.

If you want to invite a friend to drive the car you subscribe to, make sure the person has an Aimo Share account. Email us at subscription@aimoshare.se from your email address registered in your account and provide the email address of the person you want to invite. We will respond within 24 hours

 • Email subscription@aimoshare.se at least 3 days in advance to request a car wash. 

• Provide the location of the hotspot where the car will be parked. 

• The car must be parked no later than 09:00 and remain available for us until 16:00. 

• The chosen day/date must be a weekday without public holidays. 

• The car must not be on an active trip in the Aimo app, so make sure to end the trip in the app. Otherwise, our car wash staff cannot access the vehicle. 

• Aimo will dispatch car wash staff to pick up the car and take it to one of our car wash facilities. They will perform both exterior and interior cleaning. 

• NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A FULL DETAILING SERVICE. IT IS ONLY A BASIC EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR CLEANING. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE ABOVE MAY RESULT IN THE CAR NOT BEING WASHED.

We would be happy to assist you with replacing the battery in your car key. You can visit our office at Förmansvägen 11, 117 43 Stockholm, where we will help you with it. Take the elevator to floor 6 and register at the reception. You are welcome on weekdays, excluding public holidays, between 9 am and 4 pm. You can easily find an instructional video on how to replace the battery in the exact car key you have. It's quite straightforward and quick. You will need a new Button cell battery listed as CR2032 3V (Volts)

Assistance with battery replacement in your car key

If you're interested in switching car models, you'll need to contact your sales representative. If you're unsure who your sales representative is, you can call customer service and provide your company name (or name if you are a private person), and they will assist you in reaching the appropriate person.

Depending on the issue with the car, we need to take different steps to assist you in the best possible way. If the car is not drivable, we ask you to call us at 010-456 39 39. Our customer service team will do everything possible to assist you. Please note that our customer service cannot assist you with changing cars or answer questions regarding costs and claims. To get help with these questions, please email subscription@aimoshare.se, and we will contact you as soon as possible.

My car is not drivable, towing is necessary

If your car has a flat tire, you need to check if it's a slow leak or a significant puncture. If it's a slow leak, please use the tire inflator kit located in the trunk to inflate the tire and drive the car to the nearest workshop for repair. If your car doesn't have such a kit, please call us at 010-456 39 39 for further assistance. If the tire has a significant puncture, please follow the safety instructions and place a warning triangle. Then, call us for assistance with towing the car. Please note that our customer service cannot assist you with changing cars or answer questions regarding costs and claims. To get help with these questions, please email subscription@aimoshare.se, and we will contact you as soon as possible.

What if I have lost or found an item in an aimo?

“Park&Keep” is what you press when you want to lock the car but not end the trip. 

No, we'll pay for the parking if you've parked your car in one of our approved taxs inside our Homezone or in a Hotspot available on the app. When you switch off your car, it will automatically pay to the tax you have parked on (It will not pay to any tax that is not approved by us). It is not okay to leave the car on a tax zone we do not cover even if you pay parking for the vehicle 24H ahead, it is also not allowed to end on a pre-rented spot.

Go to the menu and then press "credits" and enter the code. You need to enter the promo code before ending a trip if you would like for the amount to be deducted for that specific trip.

If you rather prefer to get the car delivered to a specific HotSpot we can help you with that, due to Aimo rental pricelist.

What happens with the payment if I or Aimo cancel my booking?

Late return will be charged at Aimo pricelist. 

It is important to us that the car you subscribe to is perceived as your own and is always available to you. The only thing you need to think about is choosing the type of subscription that suits you.

Insurance is included in the subscription with a fee of SEK 4,760 (inc vat) in the event of any damage.
